Jacquelyn (Jackie) Tuxill shares her book Whispers from the Valley of the Yak: A Memoir of Coming Full Circle

Jackie Tuxill lived on Kodiak Island in the 1970s and then Anchorage where she volunteered at the Alaska Center for the Environment that led to a 35-year career work on conservation issues. Her memoir tells an intergenerational story about the power of forgiveness and unconditional love, and the importance of self-discovery and living an authentic life. The story takes the reader from western China, where I was born to parents who were both medical missionaries, to Alaska and New England, and back to China.
