DESCRIPTION:Over the past year\, we’ve faced an unprecedented wave of outrageous attacks. We saw everything from federal cuts to Title X program (health care for those financially disadvantaged)\, the Governor’s administration slashing the State of Alaska budget by more than 50%\, to bans on abortion and attacks on our most vulnerable communities. We know that 2020 will bring more fights our way and how we respond in the months ahead\, could impact us for years to come. Let’s start off the new year with a goal! Join us at our Anchorage Legislative Session Kickoff happening on Monday\, January 6th at 6:00 PM. We will gather to go over what happened in 2019\, our Legislative Session needs and strategy for 2020 and of course\, how you can help. This is an informational meeting with time for questions and getting to know each other.
