6:30pm: Togetherings “Taboo” (Part 3 of 3)
April 16, 2020 @ 6:30 pm

Organized by the Alaska Humanities Forum, the Togetherings are participatory conversations conceived in a series of three gatherings around a central theme. The Togetherings bring together people from a wide range of perspectives and life experiences to encourage new awareness, challenge assumptions, and encourage new possibilities for our communities.
The theme of the first series of Togetherings is Taboos, specifically: Rage, Death, and Shame.
At each Togethering, three speakers kick-off the dialogue. Then, three people from the audience are invited to join them in the discussion; and finally, everyone present is invited to pose a question or share a thought.
Schedule:
Rage, March 19, 6:30-8pm
Death, April 2 6:30-8pm
Shame, April 16, 6:30-8pm
The Togetherings welcome the participation of a wide age group in order to foster intergenerational dialogue. You can find out more about the themes in the calendar. For the Taboo series, intergenerational participation is encouraged at your discretion.
