Book reading with Zach Rogow and Rich Chiappone

Zack Rogow will read from his new poetry collection Irreverent Litanies, where he grapples with religion and spirituality as someone who grew up in a militantly atheist home. The work covers a range of images and experiences with human and heart. He’s an author, editor, or translator of twenty books or plays.

His friend Rich Chiappone, a long-time Alaskan and writer with three collections of short fiction and essays, will also read. He has taught at the University of Alaska Anchorage since 1995, and served as an associate editor at Alaska Quarterly Review. His most novel, The Hunger of Crows, will be released in November 2021.
